Love my lessons with Matt. He has so much patience and makes every lesson really enjoyable. I'm 50 and this was a bucket list item for me. He has been the perfect teacher for me to not give up and as you can imagine that is pretty priceless.

I’ve worked with Matt for about 4 sessions and we’re already almost finished with a System of a Down song. My previous drum teacher took forever to get to the fun stuff. I was with him for 4 months and we never even got close to learning the songs I requested. With Matt it only took 4 lessons!!!! I’m learning quickly and most importantly the lessons are fun and educational. He really listens to what you want and delivers. His setup is clean and professional. I highly recommend him

After a long break from drums I began taking lessons from Matt a year ago. He is the best drum teacher I have ever had. He is patient, knowledgeable, collaborative, adaptable, and invested in his students success. He is professional and easy to get along with. He partners with you to meet (and usually exceed) your goals. He communicates well and can explain the underlying theory if you are interested in the details and if not, he can adapt his approach. The lessons are at his studio where he has created a great environment that encourages learning from day one. It’s a comfortable space and Matt’s approach is focused on the student and how to get the best from each one. He is creative and invests in making learning fun!
